What we do

Grid-tied systems use a string inverter (Sungrow, Fronius or Sunsynk grid-tie) that feeds solar power into your home during daylight, offsetting whatever you would otherwise draw from Eskom. Any excess can be exported to the grid (City of Johannesburg now pays for feed-in under SSEG). No batteries means no backup during load-shedding — for that you need a hybrid system.
