Solar Electrical COC Certification & SSEG Registration

Every solar PV or battery installation modifies your DB board and therefore requires a fresh Electrical Certificate of Compliance. Without a valid COC, your home insurance can deny solar-related claims and you legally cannot transfer the property. Apple Plumbing & Electrical issues Electrical COCs for new and existing solar installations across Sandton, Midrand and Northern Johannesburg, and we handle the City Power / Eskom SSEG (Small-Scale Embedded Generation) registration on your behalf.

What we do

For installations we did not do, we inspect the DC and AC wiring, isolators, surge protection, earthing, anti-islanding compliance, and DB-board work. We list any defects, quote any required remediation, and issue a valid Electrical COC once the system meets SANS 10142-1 and the SSEG requirements. We also handle the SSEG application paperwork, technical schematics, and meter swap coordination.
