Dedicated circuits, not one overloaded plug
An electrician runs one or more dedicated circuits from your DB board to give you enough properly-protected sockets for tools, a freezer, an EV charger or other equipment. Relying on a single socket and extension leads is a fire and trip risk with power tools and heavy loads.
Workshop? Consider a sub-board
A small garage may just need extra circuits; a workshop running heavier tools — welders, compressors, large motors — often benefits from a dedicated sub-board for capacity, safety and convenient isolation. We size it to your equipment.
